Lawrence, Tomac, and Webb on the 2026 Arlington Supercross | Press Conference
The 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship stormed into Arlington, Texas for Round 7 inside AT&T Stadium. Team Honda HRC Progressive’s Hunter Lawrence captured his first career 450SX Supercross victory. With the red plate on his Honda, Lawrence rose to the occasion under pressure, executing when it mattered most. After the checkered flag, he opened up about the emotion of earning that long-awaited first win, the belief it took to get there, and what it means to not only keep the red plate, but extend his championship points lead heading deeper into the season. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Eli Tomac put in a gritty performance to finish second after a hard-fought battle at the front. Despite coming into the weekend under the weather, Tomac dug deep and went bar-to-bar with Lawrence, Webb, and Roczen in one of the most competitive main events of the year. He reflects on the intensity of the fight and the fine margins that ultimately decided the outcome. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb also found himself in the thick of the action. Webb breaks down the pivotal pass Tomac made, the momentum swings throughout the race, and the challenges of a technical and evolving Arlington track that kept the riders on edge all night.
